New Baier cashier windows in the entrance area
To ensure that guests have to wait as little time as possible at the entrance, the cash desk area was considerably extended. The old cashier’s booth with 2 workstations had to make way completely and was replaced by a spacious complex with half a dozen vertical sliding windows from Baier. With the start of the 2018 summer season, guests are now awaited by up to six employees at the new ticket windows, depending on demand.
A concept with six identical BAIER VSF 210 vertical sliding windows, each with two fixed side elements, was developed for the Jaderpark. Due to the year-round operation, a thermally insulated design of the checkout window with safety insulating glass was important. The smooth-running sliding sash can be operated manually from the inside by means of a sliding handle and can be stopped and held in any position. In the closed position, the checkout windows can be locked on both sides with two profile cylinder locks. In contrast to the building structure, the easy-care frames and sliding window elements made of extruded aluminium profiles have been powder-coated in a rich green.
Customer wishes writ large at Baier
At the customer’s request, the clear opening dimensions of the sales/cashier windows of a maximum of 700 mm x 550 mm were to be reducible in height if necessary for security reasons. For this purpose, a pressure lock was installed as an opening limit at 100 mm and 300 mm so that the sliding sash cannot be opened further than desired from the outside without authorisation.
The entire cashier windows were delivered directly to Jaderberg by Baier and installed there by a local metal worker. In the process, the complete sliding window elements could be installed without thresholds on a continuous wooden counter in the ticket office building.
Fun, relaxation, pure leisure pleasure – nothing stands in the way of quick access to the Jaderpark, which is open all year round, with the new Baier cashier windows.
