Movable room closures

Do more than just "open" and "close"

Openings allow a room to be used, doors and windows protect the interior. But between “open” and “closed”, we offer you several advantages with our sliding windows and folding shutters.

In addition to standard window openings, special uses benefit from the added value of a sliding window sash – for example, in shop constructions, restaurants, and canteen kitchens.

A service that leaves nothing to be desired

Designers, façade professionals and shopfitters rely on Baier as a partner to implement movable room closures that are capable of more than just opening and closing. Our high-quality products turn façade openings into more.
Perfectly tailored to the location and function, we develop, manufacture and install our movable room closures: customised, high-quality and professional.

Useful: sliding windows as a convenient alternative

Sliding windows are more space-saving and more convenient than windows with pivoting sashes. The leaf, which is shifted upwards or sideways, does not protrude into the room, everything in front of and behind the glass can remain in place. The sash of our windows is held in any desired opening position and cannot close in the case of a draught.

Welcoming: sliding windows for street vending

Sliding windows are perfect for a quick purchase, snack or café to go. For even more convenience and a continuous counter, we manufacture sliding windows with a frame open at the bottom.

These “threshold-free” sliding windows are particularly suitable where pass-throughs and service counters are required as sales windows in ice-cream bars, bakeries, drive-in counters, or pass-throughs in the catering trade or industry. They are also practical for service counters such as book returns in lending libraries, dispensing medicines in hospitals and pharmacies, ticket sales, gatehouses, etc.

Bewegliche Raumabschlüsse

Spacious: sliding windows to open up the façade

When outside and inside blend, a unique sense of space and living is created. With our large-sized sliding windows, you can open large façade areas quickly and conveniently – even as a passageway or drive-through, for example, in restaurants, car dealerships, in public swimming pools or industrial applications. We can realise almost any size – whether as vertical or horizontal sliding windows.

In multi-part design, several sashes move in front of or behind each other and can therefore be opened in a space-saving manner, for example, if large openings are realised despite a small amount of space.

Flexible: Countertop for cafeterias

With a folding lift-up shutter as a countertop to the kitchen, you can use the dining room flexibly, for example also as an assembly hall or event room. For an elegant wall design, we perfectly match the filling of the folding lift shutter to the surrounding wall surface.

A perfect, smooth and consistent surface

Due to the consistent joint pattern, the flush-fitting room divider merges with the interior wall to form a harmonious unit that fills the entire wall. At the same time, the kitchen production and work area are separated in an attractive and hygienic way.
