Leisure fun in the Ortenau – from vision to reality
Baier has the right solution for all requirements. “The whole experience of our metal construction is in the development of innovative and individual sliding windows,” says Dieter Baier, Managing Director of Baier GmbH. “We place great emphasis on individuality, ease of maintenance and safety”.
In this case here at Europa-Park, it’s all about ergonomic sliding windows for commercial use in street vending equally for outdoors or indoors!
Individually manufactured: Sliding windows as required
Flexibility as well as boundlessness in shape, colour and size were always important for all 22 windows. Due to the ever-changing spatial conditions in the park, which visitors particularly appreciate, horizontal and vertical construction was required. Important for each individual window is: convenient operation, whether manually, at the push of a button or by motion detector. Comfort is written in capital letters. The patented Baier safety system (fall protection) prevents the sash from falling uncontrollably, which reliably protects both staff and visitors from accidents.

Functional drive technology from Baier
Baier is a specialist for just such special solutions. These do not always have to be heavy and large, special challenges can also be found in the smallest detail. One of these is drive technology. In our development department, Baier drives are specially developed and tested for use on sliding windows. They impress with their long service life and quiet operation.
Trend-setting: Vertical and Horizontal
Two basic control variants are available for vertical and horizontal windows: A simple control, for open and close operation. Can be controlled via potential-free contacts. Ideal for sales windows that do not have to close automatically. For more complex applications, Baier supplies a control with many refinements and setting options. On request, automatic closing after an adjustable hold-open time, different speed levels, selection of behaviour in case of obstacles as well as additional inputs and outputs for on-site systems, to name just a few examples.
