Gaisbacher Hof

About the object

The Renchtal holiday region, with its numerous forests and hidden side valleys, has a lot to offer. Striking landscapes, numerous lookout towers and varied dream tours make the Renchtal a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Leisurely or sporty – hikers and cyclists get their money’s worth in the beautiful Renchtal.

And a hearty stop for a bite to eat is also part of the experience. For hungry and thirsty cyclists and hikers, the family-run inn and country hotel Gaisbacher Hof has all kinds of delicacies in store. At the foot of the Schauenburg, in the idyllically situated courtyard, it is particularly nice to sit from May to October. Up to 120 people can be catered for in the large garden restaurant, which requires good organisation and well thought-out work processes.

Automatic door connects the “inside” with the “outside”

A Baier automatic sliding door provides a hygienic passage from the kitchen inside the building to the courtyard outside. Adapted to the local conditions and requirements, the automatic sliding door was equipped with a motion detector from the outside. The door opens automatically, the passage area for the service staff is opened. A safety sensor, a so-called light curtain “monitors” the movement area of the door leaves and provides the necessary safety. If staff enter this monitored movement area during the opening and closing process, the door leaves stop.

From the kitchen side, i.e. from the inside, the automatic door is operated by foot switch. This type of control guarantees that the door actually only opens when necessary – unintentional opening due to movements and activities in the kitchen is excluded.

Vertical sliding window as a pass-through

A vertical sliding window by Baier from neighbouring Renchen-Ulm creates a practical connection between the kitchen and the outside counter. The culinary delicacies can be passed directly from the kitchen to the service staff or placed on the counter. The vertical sliding window also functions as a pass-through for returning dishes – everything goes “hand in hand”. Equipped with operating handles on both sides, the vertical sliding window can be conveniently opened or closed from both sides at any time.

Patented fall protection provides the necessary safety

To ensure that the vertical sliding window can be operated easily with one hand, the sliding window system was designed with counterweights. The weight of the window sash is thus balanced – the pass-through can be opened or closed effortlessly.

Safety is a top priority for Baier products. In the case of the vertical sliding windows, a patented fall protection device, which is invisibly integrated into the extruded frame profiles, ensures the necessary safety during every opening and closing process.

Because the vertical sliding window connects the courtyard area with the building, the window was designed with a profile cylinder. After work and outside of operating hours, the Baier vertical sliding window can be easily locked.
