Rüdiger Baptist is a passionate host and has made many new things in the long history of the Restaurant-Hotel Adler Königschaffhausen full of ideas and zest for action. Among other things, the hotel reception area with its exquisite lounge area has been renovated.
Here, two automatic sliding doors from Metallbau Baier ensure convenient and barrier-free access and passage. The modern, slim aluminium profiles of the door and surrounding frame elements contrast harmoniously with the historic building and the sandstone archway. Generous and transparent, they combine tradition and modernity to a certain extent. Thanks to its fast opening and closing, the automatic door efficiently separates hot and cold areas and thus scores points for its economic efficiency.

The two double-leaf automatic sliding door systems with special locking fulfil the escape route approval and ensure a clear path towards the main exit in an emergency. Escape door locks must allow the doors to be opened at any time and clear the escape route before the crowd has reached the door. A special, permanently active radar motion detector prevents “collisions” between passers-by and the door.
