Psychiatry in Munich-Haar

Coloured sliding shutters by Baier accentuate the grey façades of the cuboid new buildings at the Isar-Amper-Klinikum in Haar near Munich. In addition to the colour, the new buildings should also resemble the design language of the existing buildings.

State-of-the-art sliding-folding systems from Baier provide sufficient privacy and sun protection for the large window elements of a private building. To match the rust-look façade, the sliding-folding system sashes were fitted with perforated Corten steel sheets.

In order to achieve recreation and relaxation for the residents on the narrow site, the architect had to come up with something: folding sliding shutters from Baier that are flush with the façade.

Penny Market Rheinau

At the end of Rheinau Freistett, the burnt ruins of the former dance hall "metropol" were demolished. Where people used to dance, a new Penny has been built, including areas for retail, services and gastronomy. Baier produced a wide variety of façade elements for the discounter.

Munich's popular Elisabethmarkt with its sales huts will be rebuilt for two long years. An interim market with containers is to provide a replacement. Traders and customers were sceptical. For the realisation of the information kiosk, the Rheinau-based company Ruku Anhängerbau sought cooperation with an experienced metal construction company. Baier planned and constructed two telescopic vertical sliding windows and one horizontal sliding window for the counter and bar area of the modern building.
