Bergseestraße Sinzheim

Not quite at the lake, but quite close, lies this detached house in an idyllic Black Forest location. The residential area is characterised by a mixture of single-family and terraced houses, into which the two-storey house with gable roof fits harmoniously. Sliding shutters provide the desired privacy and sun protection.

Simplicissimus House Renchen

The Simplicissimus House was also made accessible to people with walking disabilities with an automatic door from Baier. Baier automatic doors are tested and certified and thus reliably fulfil all comfort and safety requirements.

Simma Electronic Headquarters Egg

The striking façade of wood and folding sliding shutters made of dark metal makes the new company headquarters of Simma Electronic in Vorarlberg, Austria, an eye-catcher. 100 folding sliding shutter systems with large-area perforated sheet metal infill from Baier enable a pleasant working climate on hot days - and still provide daylight in the interior rooms.

Single-family house Seckau

In this bungalow in Styria, Austria, the architects Gerhard Sacher combined sun protection and façade design into an inseparable unit. The focal point is a glazed terrace front facing the garden, which is shaded by two 6-panel sliding-folding shutter systems made of coated aluminium sheet.

Seahouse Dortmund

To shade the balcony areas of the Seahouse in Dortmund, they were looking for a way to protect them from the sun without "blocking" the view of the lake. Baier GmbH, as a specialist for sliding shutters, was able to supply semi-transparent sun protection with the right profiles and the appropriate fabric covering.

Schwarzwaldwaldcafé Backloft

Unrendered brick walls, exposed concrete, steel structures and exposed pipes are reminiscent of an old factory building. In fact, however, the cuboid, two-storey building is an experience café of a special kind. For the construction of the unusual location, the planners Achim Streim and Markus Kugler sought the cooperation of our experienced metal construction company, a specialist in customised solutions and special constructions.
