About the object

Not everything always goes according to plan! In this case, a truck hit a fixed sun protection system. It is a matter of cantilevered sun protection slats running along the building. The sun protection slats are held on retaining profiles with special plastic clips. These retaining profiles are attached to statically sufficient steel crossbeams with brackets on the building. In this case, the brackets were concealed by an overlying cladding of wooden slats. The sun protection system was manufactured and installed by us in 2010.

Sunshade slats damaged by lorry

Apparently overlooked when turning, a lorry got stuck at the corner and damaged some brackets and a sun protection slat so badly that they had to be replaced. After an initial inspection of the situation by our technician, a quotation was prepared and approved. The two louvre panels, the short one running to the left and the one running to the right, were completely replaced.

Thanks to the availability of all documents, it was possible to react very quickly. The brackets, retaining profiles, sun protection slats and the front cover plate were restored. Thanks to an almost always identical powder coating according to standardised colour shades, in this case a RAL colour, all components can be procured again in the same colour shade.

Fast repair and service are a matter of course

The repair of systems, maintenance and service are a matter of course for construction elements. Experienced employees are needed to react quickly and purposefully in the event of a repair. We carry out repairs of this kind reliably, quickly and competently. Keeping the order documents for later use and close contact with the suppliers of spare parts are important components in order to be able to help further.

Quick help is called for in case of burglary

Often, repairs are also necessary when unwanted guests try to gain access to a building. In this case, it is particularly important to react quickly. For example, by emergency glazing and replacement of the function-preserving hardware parts. Baier has the necessary expertise and its own spare parts warehouse. We can bring parts that have been damaged and need to be replaced right away – this saves time and money!
