Turn/tilt sash windows

In this type of window, two different opening mechanisms are possible by means of special tilt-turn fittings. The window sash is either fully opened or tilted. The turn function and the tilt function are adjusted by the position of the window handle. Basically, a tilt and turn window opens inward and can be operated with one hand. Tilt and turn windows are available in various materials – from wood to plastic and aluminum.
