Thermal separation

Thermal separation

Windows, doors and facade systems made of aluminum or steel are good heat conductors. The thermal break in the metal profiles, usually plastic, is intended to prevent the formation of thermal or cold bridges. By a thermal insulating layer between the inside and outside, the different temperature ranges are separated from each other. Today, thermal separation is obligatory for exterior facade elements. In some cases, thermal breaks are also inserted several times in the profiles to achieve even better thermal separation.
