Shading

Shading – protection from the sun

Shading is understood to mean precautions that serve to protect against the sun, primarily to regulate the incidence of light. A distinction is made between internal and external shading. Roller shutters, external venetian blinds, sliding shutters, folding sliding shutters, lifting folding shutters and movable sun protection slats are external, usually individually adjustable shading elements that keep the light, but also the heat, outside. Pleated blinds, external venetian blinds, roller blinds, venetian blinds and curtains are common interior sun protection products. They are primarily used to regulate the light, as they are not or only partially suitable for preventing heat radiation.
