Curtain

Curtain is a generally applicable term. In the case of a sun-shading device, the actual part serving the purpose of sun shading is referred to as the curtain.

For example, in the case of a roller shutter or roof window roller shutter, the so-called roller shutter curtain, without the associated guide rails and roller shutter shaft, etc., or in the case of a sliding shutter, the actual window shutter element, without the associated hardware and drive parts, etc.
