Can sliding shutters be retrofitted?

Retrofitting shutters is not a problem

Window shutters have always been an attractive design element on the facade and offer protection from the sun, wind and weather. In the last 50 years, folding shutters have been almost completely replaced by built-in roller shutters. Tilting, folding or sliding window shutters are currently back in fashion in both new buildings and renovations.
The “retrofitting” of sliding shutters and folding sliding shutters is basically possible. The masonry, the existing window opening and the installation situation must be taken into account during planning. For example, if there is little space next to the windows, folding or telescopic sliding shutters are possible, otherwise sliding shutters are a good choice.
Both window shutter variants can be operated manually or electrically.
