Regional in every respect<\/h2>\n

Baier GmbH was commissioned with the execution of the entire fa\u00e7ade, the sliding folding shutters on the upper floor and the windows. It was to be something special, regional materials and yet in no way “old-fashioned”.<\/p>\n

Fixed wooden slats made of silver fir were planned for the exterior fa\u00e7ade. A company in Baiersbronn manufactured these from local wood. This was one of the requirements of the owner and builder J\u00fcrgen Knopf: local materials were to be used and the work was to be carried out by local companies. Sympathetic goals.<\/p>\n

The wooden slats were attached to the fa\u00e7ade at an angle. A total of 3500 slats were needed for this, according to Baier.<\/p>\n

The fa\u00e7ade in the lower area is made of stone. Behind the slat cladding, which starts above the shop window front on the ground floor, multi-colour LEDs were installed, which can be switched on in the evening or at night.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section][vc_section][vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column width=”5\/12″][vc_column_text]\n

Baier takes care of the exterior<\/h2>\n

The fa\u00e7ade then appears red, green, white and\/or blue in different colours. Around 600 colour levels from warm to cold light are possible. It is a very unusual lighting atmosphere in which the immediate surroundings of the building are immersed at nightfall, Andreas Knopf is pleased to say.<\/p>\n

Not only the wooden louvres but all 50 aluminium windows also come from Baier. Eight men were needed to transport a single large shop window pane and finally place it in the right place. The production of the 5 electronic sliding-folding shutters on the second floor was also exciting. Homogeneous: Fa\u00e7ade and sliding-folding shutters<\/h2>\n

The shutters were also fitted with the same wooden slats and are thus fully integrated into the fa\u00e7ade when closed.
\nThe building itself also proves how well the local craftsmanship works; the complex building was raised in just eleven months, hidden behind a large construction wall. Excitement was thus guaranteed. Site manager Christian Birk from the Seebacher\/Braun architectural office praised the craftsmen for the smooth, speedy and, above all, high-quality construction process. They delivered a remarkable performance, says investor Knopf, who is also pleased.
