Congress Centre W\u00fcrzburg CCW – a location with a future<\/h2>\n

The new fa\u00e7ade facing the River Main was designed in glass and metal, it is open and inviting. On the overhanging upper floor, the entire fa\u00e7ade was also made of glass. If necessary, it should be possible to close it with large folding sliding shutters.<\/p>\n

For this, they needed an experienced manufacturer who would also dare to tackle unusual projects. Sought – found: Baier GmbH was given the task of testing, building and installing folding sliding shutters over 5 m high. Perforated sheeting, the steel construction and the drives, everything was and is designed for maximum performance. Baier built a model that stood up to the demanding requirements. Multifaceted room lighting design with perforated sheeting<\/h2>\n

The prototype was hardly out of the machining shop when production of the sliding folding shutters was already underway. “These were the first folding shutters on this scale,” says Johannes Baier. A new drive had to be specially developed that could move the weight evenly and accurately. The steel fittings and frames were also planned and built as special constructions. The implementation of the objectives by Blocher Blocher Partners has been successful. And Baier was able to make its contribution to the success.
